Details

Minimum stay is 3 nights. Please enquire about longer stays (i.e. one month or more).

Rental fee includes:

  • Water, gas and electricity

  • Parking (outside house)

  • WiFi

  • 2 person stay. 50 euros will be charged for each additional person over 12 years old. Maximum occupancy is 4 people.*

Rental fee does not include:

  • Heating (to be paid separately for usage)

  • Cleaning, set-up, key handover — an additional fee of $175 / will be charged.

A 50% deposit is required up front to secure the rental; the balance is required two weeks prior to arrival. An additional 150 euro cash security deposit is required upon arrival that will be held by estate agency during your stay and returned when leaving (funds will only be used in case of incidentals).

*The house is not suitable for toddlers or the very elderly as there are steep stairs.

Amenities

Internet/WiFi

WiFI is available in the house. If you need to be connected 24/7, it’s recommended you bring a pocket modem and SIM card for your mobile phone and/or laptop to connect to WiFi wherever you go. There is also WiFi available in the town — you can connect from the tourist office or the public library when presenting a valid passport. Several cafés in the piazza offer WiFi as well.

Parking

Parking outside the house near the wall is steps away and is free every day.

  • Laundromat is located in town if bulk washing is required

  • Heating is provided by radiators throughout the house; use of heat is measured by meter reading

  • Ceiling and floor fans/no air conditioning

  • Water, gas and electricity are included

  • Please bring international adapters for electricity conversion of items you may own


Other

  • There is a beautiful semi-private piazza across the street from the house with views of the valley. Here, there’s a picnic table… feel free to enjoy a glass of wine or a picnic

  • Food shops, local shops, cafés, espresso bars, galleries, etc. are located within walking or driving distance and are all nearby

  • There are several restaurants, cafés and bars located in the piazza and around town open for lunch and dinner

  • The theatre in town and the main piazza offer concerts, festivals, art showings, etc.

  • A swim and tennis club is a 10 minute drive away; there are full tennis courts and Olympic size pool

  • In nearby Ponte Rio (down the hill from the house), there are more convenient shops, including the wine cantina, where you can purchase 5 litres of delicious local wine for Euro 9! 

  • The post office is located at the top of the piazza in the main part of town

  • There are several banks and ATMs in and around town

  • The main hospital and pharmacies are located in town, nearby
